Biography

Remo Leonzi is a guitarist and singer. At the age of 5, a few weeks before his first day of school, he picked up a guitar, pushed by the desire to emulate his father, who was also a guitar player. Shortly thereafter, he began his musical education, listening to LP’s and tapes he found around the house. Names like Bob Dylan, Little Richard, The Beatles, Donovan, Joni Mitchell, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and Janis Joplin were his first musical influences. As his repertoire expanded, Remo decided it was time to improve his guitar skills and started to study guitar and music theory. In June 1993 Remo formed his very first band, followed by a few more bands during the following years. Together with pianist Antonio Sorgentone, Remo won the popular television series: “Italia’s Got Talent” in 2019. In November 2019 the first Remo’s solo album called Flashbacks is released, it’s a collection of songs written by Remo himself and performed by his band. Today as well as his solo career, Remo is busy with his band Soul Buddies who released his first single “Good Enough” in March 2019.
