The Legend of Mutaitaa, also known as Zenki, is a multi-dimensional being who is a vessel for creation and expresses his creation through the artistic lens of music. Born in 1995, was first introduced to music by his grandpa, who would introduce him to "Ramon Ayala & Cornelio Reyna". At the age of 6, he came across the culture of hip-hop. Living with his cousins in the U.S., they would always listen to rap music in the background: "Biggie Smalls, 2Pac, BDP, and Beastie Boys." His influences came from growing up around all kinds of genres, including rap, rock, pop, metal, reggaetón, reggae, dancehall, etc. But it wasn't until the age of 7 that he came across "What U Gon' Do" by "Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz" that he really took notice of Rap and would begin going down a rabbit hole to Method Man, Snoop and Nate Dogg, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, etc. As the years went by, he began to be intrigued by fast rap, and years later, he would credit Tech N9ne for influencing him to pick up a pen and paper. His rabbit hole journey would continue into the underground, where he would come across KRS-ONE, Rakim, and Slick Rick. His love for hip-hop grew, but his love for popular music also grew. Influenced by different sounds, MUTAITAA is one of the most innovative, diverse, and unique artists out there. Since 2011, his career has been full of ups and downs, but he has come ahead and continues to ever grow as an artist alongside his movements "#TheWayOfSiaki and #TheTruthShallReignSupreme".
