Pauli’s journey started off growing up in the Oregon suburbs to later making the move to LA with a suitcase, oneway ticket, and a dream. While just a child she began singing, playing piano, and writing songs in her bedroom. She was introduced to music from her dad who sang and played guitar at the church she attended as a child. Pauli remembers some of her favorite moments singing along with her dad while he would play the guitar. At just 3 years old, she laid hands on her first piano and instantly fell in love with the instrument. Right away she was able to play back songs she heard and it was discovered that Pauli could play by ear. These were some of the first signs that Pauli would go on to have a future in music. In 2010 she recorded her first single and would go on to record many more songs throughout her early adult life and also pick up producing along the way. Her music is inspired from pop and r&b/soul. She enjoys singing pop style songs with hints of rhythmic flows and soulful vibratos. Being a pianist, majority of her songs foundation is rooted around the piano then built upon with bass, synths, and pads creating a hybrid of 80’s pop meets the early 2000’s meets today.
