Truly, the American dream, Gerson began in the small Panamanian town of Colon, immigrating to the United States as a young boy. In Brooklyn, navigating the crime and poverty of his neighborhood was secondary to learning the English language. He knew that his ability to survive would rely on his English, and education was the path- satisfying this need and his unquenchable curiosity. With no money, Gerson utilized his passion of sports and music to earn a scholarship that would pay for his college education. Equipped with eloquence of the English language, and a college degree, Gerson began pursuing his passion of music as a performing artist. There is plenty of music about everything.
