Claymorean is a five-piece heavy metal band from Lazarevac, Serbia. The band was formed on June 18th 2014, but not until July 2021 Claymorean started to play live shows regularly, when after a while a stable lineup was established. The sound of the band is distinctive by the strong and commanding voice of Dejana “Betsa” Garcevic, melodic guitar parts of two Vlads - Garcevic and Novakovic, and thunderous rhythm section of the bass player Goran Garcevic and the drummer Marko Novakovic. Musically and lyrically the band is rooted in the epic fantasy tradition, in which the worlds of Robert E. Howard and Michael Moorcock intertwine with the legacy of the old school metal champions like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Manowar, Virgin Steele and Manilla Road. Claymorean released 3 studio albums and a decade celebrating anniversary compilation on Stormspell Records, while independently the band released one live album and one live video as a gift to the fans and supporters. So far the band has toured Serbia and Germany, and had some notable performances at several acclaimed international festivals like Up The Hammers, Keep It True Rising, Metaleros, Headbangers Open Air, and Exit Festival.
