1/3 of the Bahamian rap group 8k. Wendó initially broke onto the scene in the summer of 2018 with the group, dropping their first single "Band Clap", a fun, energetic club banger. Since then the trio have put out a steady flow of tracks up until January 2020 like “Blueprint” “Throw It Back” and “Came Thru” to name a few, and have since been quiet for some time. Wendó released his first solo single "underrated" in August of 2021, which was well received. In June of 2022 he came out with his single Pray 4 U, showing us that he is indeed versatile and can expand his range to showcase his talents with smooth melodic flows and deep relatable bars. He's been known to lay low and seemingly pop out of nowhere with music in the past, and summer ‘22 was no different. Wendó brought out his first solo EP What's Next in August, showcasing his abilities across the 8 track EP. With collaborators Xmust & Vicdrip in tow, he paints vivid images with buttery flows and earth shattering bars. A hint of vulnerability is also present throughout as he opens up about past experiences and what it took for him to get to where he’s at. No matter your vice, there’s a track for everyone to enjoy and vibe to. Following this he delivered his first LP The One in November of 2023. The 13 track record is flooded with Wendó’s lyrical prowess which crafts a resilient anthem, inviting listeners to embrace unapologetic storytelling that resonates universally.
