Jobassa is a self-producing pop/R&B artist and dancer from Cologne. Her music sounds like a warm fuzz of synths punctuated with gritty grooves, as if Ellie Goulding, Gwen Stefani, and Billie Eilish had met up for an evening studio session. At the age of 6 she started taking dancing lessons, and recorded her first radio play at the age of 11. Since this very moment her goal was clear: Music, music, music. During her music studies in the Netherlands, she released her first self-produced EP, "Stop & Go," followed by her album under Soundpool Records in 2015. Her single "In My Fantasy" led to her first China Promotion Tour in 2017. More singles followed. In 2021, Jobassa worked on her first self-produced album „Aquarium“, capturing the sound she had always envisioned. The motto was to swim freely. In her home studio, with walls as blue as the water. (Mixing & Mastering by Austin Hull) Through her music, Jobassa conveys the message of self-empowerment, aiming to create a peaceful pop paradise where listeners discover their inner strength and freedom. In the past 3 years, Jobassa has released 8 tracks, including 2 remixes and a collab with Maik Toff. This year she is one of the winners of the Ready For Take Off program, supported by Raketerei and Get Response. Currently, she is working on her 2nd album, scheduled to be released in 2025, and planning more concerts that blend the intimacy of a living room ambiance with the stage presence of an Ellie Goulding.
