Amare Symoné is a Bay Area-born, Brooklyn-bred singer, songwriter and performer currently based in New York City. She began singing when she was just a child. From middle to high school, she gained knowledge in the background of music. During these years of singing she studied opera, jazz, gospel, contemporary voice, and poetry; she has sung music in seven languages thus far in her career. Amare has lived in NYC, Chicago and London; it can be said that she used ever changing surroundings to challenge and evolve her writing/art.
