Based in Dallas, Texas, Recording Artist and Songwriter Nate G., is an artist of adaptability and ability to transcend the genre of hip-hop. Inventive and intelligent, his music pushes boundaries by combining his love for words and passion for seeking knowledge. Multifaceted and musically inclined, Nate G. learned the artistry of dance and performed at the John F. Kennedy Center after joining Karla’s Kids Musical Ministries. Realizing performing music was his passion, he began rapping at the age of 16 with best friend and fellow D.C. Native Ben Kenobe, becoming known as Nick and Nate. Eventually the duo changed their name to SOS, an acronym for Save Our Souls. SOS began gaining major traction, working with movers and shakers in the music industry like singer, songwriter, and producer Tony Williams and most notably opening up for the late, Grammy award-winning artist Nipsey Hussle. Specializing in the delivery of bars and witty wordplay, no matter the intricacy or complexity of a beat in his weekly Freestyle Friday series, Nate G. most recently gained the attention of hip-hop legends Jadakiss and Cassidy, eventually partnering with both of them to be featured on their mixtapes. Managing and executing the recording and distribution process of his 1st and 2nd solo albums via his entertainment company, Soul Frequencies, Nate G. is currently in the studio working on his 3rd solo project.
