Thanks for tuning in! I picked up the guitar at the age of 8 and have not looked back. Initially I studied classical guitar; later on in junior high and high school I got into the nylon string sounds of Earl Klugh, the steel-string acoustic wizardry of Phil Keaggy and the incredible jazz chops of the late Joe Pass. In 1997 I moved to Colorado to edit Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine, where I met smooth jazz icon Russ Freeman of the Rippingtons, and on whose record Topaz I played the opening duet with Russ on the song Under a Spanish Moon. These days I'm seeking to blend guitar with ethnic stringed instruments such as the oud and bouzouki. My latest endeavor is an Easter hymn entitled "Yeshua Our Risen King", featuring the wonderful voice of Teressa Mahoney. My priorities are faith, family, music and fitness.
