Cj TheFlii (pronounced Cj The-Fly) is a 24 year old Rapper/Producer born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. With an ongoing passion for Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B music since the age of 9, he began officially recording music in early 2010 as well as formed his art/music collective F.A.T.O. with 5 artists: Nieklaus, Lockedown, B. Young, Honcho Nightmare, and E-White; all of which have known each other since childhood. His Musical influences have been said to be the likes of Jay Z, Kanye West, Nas, Lil Wayne, Mobb Deep, Lupe Fiasco, 50 Cent, Joe Budden, Cam’ron, and many others. From there on, he began to progress lyrically developing his timing, flow, and delivery. In late 2013 he found a second passion in producing. He soon began producing his own music as well as collaborating with his F.A.T.O. co-artists. In a span of 4 years he has put together projects such as “Fastlane”, “The Affinity Tape”, “Project Untitled 1 & 2", his latest body of work "Super-Natural", as well as his forthcoming debut album "True Colours."
