I am going to speak from I and from my heart, even though Bio's are not meant to be written in this way. I am Karina Kalilah, the artist behind Kalilah. I create music from my heart with the assistance of my producers Shamanic Catharsis & Ben Templestep. I was drawn to sound healing after I lost most of my hearing in both ears. I was drawn to the way could feel the vibrations more than I could hear them, all the little tingly sensations in my body that the singing bowls made me feel. I have never been a singer, yet as I was losing my hearing suddenly, I found my own voice with the Crystal Bowls to soothe me. I learned to sing despite my limited hearing, it has been my saving grace. I wish for all my music to have a "Sound Healing" vibe, mixed with electronic frequencies that will drop you into yourself, to assist you in finding the spaces between: the peace and joy that is woven in between each thought.
