Stxv is emerging as one of the new rap producers creating new a sound and wave in the UK. Stxv a.k.a 'Where's Steve' has been making noise all over London for his hard hitting beats and unique rap style. Stxv originally aspired to be a producer but then soon realised he also was gaining attention for his spoken word and poetry videos. Now active as a rapper, he is delivering unique styles of rapping over his own atmospheric and groovy beats. His first release Blessed was not what many anticipated. He presents a spoken word style track that gives his listeners some insight in to who he is and what he is overcome to be this upbeat and fun artist. From there, Stxv has released Gang. (Freestyle) which shows he is ready to embrace the artist side of his musical career and have fun while doing it. Born Stephen Alexander Roachford in Bridgetown, Barbados, Stxv was surrounded by music. He began playing the drums in school and church, joining the jazz band, drumline and making beats for his friends to freestyle to at parties. His family, a family of artists and musicians and so this transition to becoming an artist himself, was only a question of when and not how. He began releasing music on Soundcloud after he realised that he sounded as good as the artists he was rapping with. From there, Stxv has created a sound that is still developing with each release but is bouncy, real and raw nonetheless. Stxv has clear influences from artists like Ace Hood & Childish Gambino.
