My name is Juan David Peña. I’m from Bogotá Colombia. I started playing bass when I was about 11 or 12 years old and little by little I fell in love with music. I was fortunate enough to study music at college where I discovered a whole new side of music. I got bit by the “Music Production Bug” and started making compositions / productions. I love writing music to picture (advertising, tv, etc) but I also love making any kind of music. I am constantly amazed by how much there is to learn in music and I try to constantly challenge myself and try new things. Escapement was born from this urge to explore new things. I get to collaborate with incredible artists around the world to bring this music to you. I hope you love listening to it as much as I love making it.
