King Dame originally started writing secular music in his late teens. However; it didn’t seem to have any direction. By 19, & now a born again believer he began writing covers to secular music with a Christian message. What had started as a hobby had developed as pure passion. A few years later, King Dame walked away from music & God entirely due to a failed relationship. About 4 years later, something changed. Fed up with his lifestyle of womanizing, partying, drinking & smoking, Dame took a step back to look at himself. He realized he ran from God because of embarrassment & feelings of abandonment. It was in that moment he confronted his fears & picked up a Bible again. He found himself writing songs for The Lord with a brand new insight. Now, he’s all in. With no turning back. King Dame is here to stay. He has branded himself as Gods Platform to use rap music to communicate the Gospel.
