Badi Assad is one of Brazil's most talented performers. A heartfelt vocalist who sings in English and Portuguese and is known for her Bobby McFerrin-like improvisations. With 14 albums released worldwide (Wonderland was selected among the 100 Best from BBC London and was included among the 30 Best on Amazon.com). In 2004 she toured with Larry Coryell and John Abercrombie, to promote Three Guitars. later a project with her brothers, the famous Duo Assad, true masters of the classic guitar, was launched. With the release of her independent Between Love and Luck she conquered the award of Best Composer of The Year (APCA); Pega no Coco won 1st prize in the USA International Songwriting Competition and she was selected among the 70 Brazilian guitar masters of history by Rolling Stones.
