Leroy Dwayne Johnson (born March 13th, 1991) better known as mrmurdersongs, or Dougie Jay, is a American singer, songwriter & musician from Baton Rouge, LA . He is also a United States Army veteran who served in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. He began making music in 2011 during deployment covering various pop artists before venturing off into his original works. In 2016, he began affiliating with Str8 Drop Allstars and released numerous songs with fellow bandmate, Teflon Mark along with other guest features with some of Baton Rouge's legendary artists. He is known for his versatility to mesh metaphorical punchlines with melancholy vocal pitches and tones to create a sort of third dimensional atmospheric experience for listeners. He cites NaS, Erykah Badu and Chris Brown among others as musical influences on his career.
