The San Diego artist Tray Cal was raised in a Christian household. During his earlier years Tray thoroughly analyzed Tupac’s albums “Strictly 4 My N.I️.G.G.A.Z.” and 2Pacalypse Now”. Tray’s love for Music was mainly influenced by his father who played the bass guitar and loved classical jazz artists like the great Frank Sinatra. Tray has often expressed his bigger influences of today such as Drake, J. Cole, Big Sean and A$AP Rocky. In early 2015 Tray moved to Colorado and recorded multiple singles before actually finding his sound. His biggest success came from his single “Western Music” which helped push his sound throughout the city and give him somehwhat of an influence.
