In 2020 the five members of PrimeBrass got together to dedicate themselves entirely to music originally written for brass quintet. The aim of the professional musicians from Winterthur and Zurich is to perform the established compositions and to actively support the creation of new works. For this purpose, composition commissions are to be awarded to local and international composers - each in the form of a carte blanche, in order to create as varied and extraordinary works as possible. The aim here is to work with composers and music educators in order to create works and content of weight and quality.
