Ashish Ragwani a child prodigy born in Jodhpur (Rajasthan) belongs to a rich Musical Family, Started learning tabla initially under the guidance of his Father C.P. Ragwani (eminent music arranger) and uncle Dr.Indrajeet Chhangani(Ph.d in Music) from the tender age of 3, started formal training and become Ganda Band disciple of Pt.Mahendra Parihar Ji (Purab Gharana) and learn tabla for 10 years. Presently he is a Ganda Band Shagird of Shri Mridangraj Ji of Ajrada Gharana. He has given his tabla solo performances on the India’s eminent stages like Indian Music Festival, Mumbai, Garjat Malhar Music Fest, Bangalore, Sabras Music and Dance Festival, Delhi to name a few. He has accompanied many great Singers and Musicians, few of them are : Padma Vibhushan Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia ji, Padma Shri Suresh Wadkar ji, Padma Shri Anup Jalota Ji, Ustad Rajkumar Rizvi Ji, Mrs. Ronkini Gupta Ji, Mrs. Sunanda Sharma Ji, Miss. Pooja Gaitonde Ji, Shri Ashwin Shrinivasan ji, Pt. Ravi Chary, Mrs. Sawani Shende Ji and many more.
