Eighty6 Chris is a New Orleans, Louisiana based emcee who delivers strong, poetic, and direct lyrics over soulful production. The monotone artist believes “music should tell stories and paint pictures of nostalgia”. Inspired by early 90’s N.O rap, East & West coast, his range of style and technique of coming of age reminiscences to poverty-driven narratives. 
 Eighty6 Chris was born in New Orleans where he grew up in the Uptown section of the city. He begin rapping at an early age. Music was always close to him, he remembers childhood memories of the New Orleans native rapper BG being in his grandma's living room, the rapper was close friends with his uncle. Releasing music while in highschool and performing shows throughout the city making a name for himself. He released a mixtape "Million Dollar Dreams" in 2009, with the success of that release he formed a relationship with a legendary producer in New Orleans Law "cracktracks" Parker. He joined his SupremeStreet collective and went on tour. Now with his imprint DopeSince86 under exclusive licensing to Equity Distribution. He is sure to deliver more music to carve his name in the industry.
