Praised for her “crystalline tone and delicate passagework" by the San Francisco Chronicle, soprano Arwen Myers captivates audiences with her timeless artistry and exquisite interpretations. Transmitting a warmth and “deep poignancy” onstage, Arwen shines in solo performance across the US and beyond. With outstanding technique and mastery of a wide range of vocal colors, Arwen sings repertoire from the Baroque to modern day, and everything in between. Recent & upcoming highlights include appearances with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Early Music Vancouver, Oregon Bach Festival Chamber Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and Lorelei Ensemble, and she has worked with such notable conductors as Nicholas McGegan, Monica Huggett, David Fallis, John Butt, David Hill, Bruce Dickey, Scott Allen Jarrett, Erick Lichte, Anthony Trecek-King, and Matthew Dirst. She is a featured soloist on Zachary Wadsworth's JUNO-nominated When There Is Peace with Chor Leoni Men's Choir, which received national broadcast across Canada on CBC Radio, as well as GRAMMY-award winning jazz pianist J.J. Wright's chart-topping albums O Emmanuel & Vespers for the Immaculate Conception.
