Mischa Blanos is a Bucharest based pianist and composer performing for Piano, Synths and Electronic Machines. With a classical academic background since the age of seven and a pianist to the bone, the versatile artist has created diverse projects, moving from one genre to another, to quench his need of melancholy from Neoclassical, the adrenaline from Techno and mind-wandering from Ambient and IDM. Undoubtedly prolific, he released in 2021 his solo album "City Jungle" and the EP "Steppe" on the French label Infiné, in 2022 his first original soundtrack to "The Bald Soprano", a new production of Eugene Ionesco’s absurdist play. 2023 brought his first endeavor on the ambient genre in the form of the immersive "Ebb and Flow" EP and a brand new techno release "Linear", perfectly cut for his clubbing outfit. His upcoming solo piano album "Titans" is a resurrection of the classical music composers. The Western titans are recalled through bits of moods, rhythms, musical scales and motifs that outlived after Mischa Blanos had forgotten all the classical musical scores of his academic upbringing, allowing flavours and aromas of the past, just like in a decanted wine, to expand and breathe a life anew. "Titans" is slated for release on 24 May 2024.
