Chris Keez , AKA Keez , started rapping at the age of 15 in 2006. During that time he had started a group named X1STAR  With fellow highschool friends Nessa Roque and Mick Taillon (Wizard X). Once out of highschool , He had started recording multiple tracks with other local hip hop artists in his region. In 2009 , he released 2 mixtapes under the name QC Connection  ( A former group he was in produced by Mathieu Savard ( M@heo )). They had opened up for HHQC artists such as Ruffneck & Buzzy Bwoy. In 2013 , Chris Keez met NIck Chartrand (NC) and Sébastien Vézina (Fra-K). They formed the group RTM which stood for Real Talk Matters. During that time, they recorded multiple songs that never got to see the light of day. They performed in local bars and had also oped for Sans Pression in 2014. In 2015 the group broke up. In 2018, Keez Met David Leclerc (Quest) and started working with him on Keez' first solo EP, Real Talk Matters. The project was released on June 1st 2018, The EP is a tribute to old school hip hop , which has subjects such as the birth of his son, the rise and fall of his old friends and his way of seeing the world.During the summer of 2018 Keez got the chance to perform at Bluesfest on the main stage and House of Paint, thanks to his good friend Neil Lee ( Hevve ).
