Biography

Dallas, TX's A Tragedy At Hand started in March 2008 by a group of high school friends aiming to step up the energy and sounds of the industry, while combining the various influences from their diverse and varying tastes in music. Known for bone-crushing riffs, soaring melodies, and raw, unfiltered energy, the band has earned a reputation for leaving everything on stage, and even more in their music starting with their debut self-titled EP (2008). Following the release of the EP This Is The End (2010) their powerful performances throughout the late 00's and early 10's solidified their drive to go beyond. Their maiden album Good Luck, You'll Need It (2015) saw them on many tours in support of the likes of Slipknot, Korn, and Bring Me The Horizon, captivating audiences with their unique blend of brutality and emotion. Continuous hunger for more led them to challenge themselves for even more diversity with their sophomore album 11:34 (2019). With lyrics that delve deep into themes of inner turmoil, societal decay, and the fragility of existence, A Tragedy At Hand delivers a visceral experience that aims to strike at the heart of the human condition. The band's sounds fusing unrelenting aggression and atmospheric tension is a cathartic release of constant emotion. After the struggles many faced through the early 2020's, they are swinging back with an freshly renewed sense of purpose and drive to deliver their most inspired music to date.
