Vanek is the moniker used by Dutch cabaretier and musician Peter van Ewijk for his international music projects. Vanek is actually a simplified, english friendly version of VAN E(wij)K. He has produced two albums and multiple singles together with American electronic musician KiloWatts. Their glitch pop project “KiloWatts & Vanek” has released albums on the American label Diffusion Records and on the German-based industrial label Dependent Records. From 2011 until 2015 he was one half of the Belgian chillstep formation The Walton Hoax, releasing multiple EPs, singles and remixes. Currently, he is working on the third KiloWatts & Vanek album.
