South East London-based DJ/Producer Lee Switch grew up on an eclectic diet of music: from Dub Reggae, to Hip Hop, through to Jungle and eventually UKG, Lee is a true melting pot of different sounds. After disregarding UK Garage at first, Lee was pulled into a whirlwind of 2-step beats, that drew his attention and ultimately lead him to the music he creates today. Back in the day, he organised a small handful of UKG parties in the Croydon and Purley district and picked up a couple of plays on Pirate radio. Fast forward to 2019 and Lee started sending out his own tracks, with early support from legends CJ Reign and Karl Brown, before reaching DJ Fen, where he has been signed to Upcycle Recordings. 
 When you think of Lee Switch, think melodic sampling, heavy (but subtle) bass tones that nod to his Dub Reggae roots; thumping kicks and crushed percussion. Lee hopes to bring a fresh take on UKG that draws inspiration from Studio 1 Dub - the melodic sampling from those early hip-hop releases - plus all the innovations pioneered by the UKG legends with an uplifting and positive twist.
