Elevated Focusion is an experimental electronic music project from the mind of Jonny Rythmns. Drawing inspiration from his own life experiences within the vibrant kaleidoscope of what defines NYC, Jonny Rythmns wanted to elevate that NY state of mind by reaching out to various corners of the globe enhancing our appreciation of the world through music and art. Musical influences include Massive Attack, UNKLE, Raymond Watts, Return to Forever, Prince, The Doors, The Crystal Method, INXS, Dr Octagon, Funkadelic, and Delerium. In 2023, the self-titled debut album was released as a concept album telling a personal story of life in New York. It was predominantly instrumental including several songs with vocals from various artists, and a spoken word track by Elevated himself. It is very abstract, and meant to serve as a soundtrack to Elevated’s life in the big apple. Elevated Focusion’s second album was released in September 2024. ‘Dark Nights’ has an electronic pop fusion sound incorporating rock, hip hop, reggae, edm, pop, funk, house, jazz, and world music. With majority of the songs having vocals, it is a departure from the predominantly instrumental sound of the self-titled album, and a furthur exploration into alternative electronic pop. https://www.elevatedfocusion.com
