Rockingham, NC’s own unsigned artist, Mark Hyde Jr A.K.A. Yung Rydah was born on 4/22/1994 & has been making music since the age of 13. Rydah started rapping with fellow friend, Rashaad Leak and his cousins. While rapping together, Rydah grew his confidence and saw early he was meant for Hip Hop and destined for this. With the likes of DMX delivery and style, Yung Rydah was inspired by the rapper’s Ruff Ryders presence. Music is everything to the Rockingham rapper… so much so, he refers to it as his calling. Writing and recording is where Rydah thrives as he envisions bringing his raps to Life. Yung Rydah adopted his own style being born in Rockingham and raised in Charlotte, NC. Some of that style adapted, is credited to his short residency in Texas. Rydah has come a long way and his career mission and goal is to take care of his family and those around him.
