Karen Fagan is a melodic and progressive house music producer based in Dublin, Ireland. A former guitarist and bassist, she became drawn to house music in her teens, upon discovering Sasha and Digweed’s Renaissance. Later, she was inspired and energised by the tougher sounds emanating from Trade nightclub in London. Since then, Karen has worked as a DJ and even published a novel featuring electronic-music themes. More recently she has focussed her creative skills solely on music production. Her years as a musician have taught her the importance of both melody and groove, and this shines through in her productions. Since her debut release in 2023, Karen has had six label signings. In June 2024, her EP, 'Deeply Invested & Yearn to Return' reached no. 27 on Beatport's Progressive House Top 100 Releases Chart.
