Montreal vocalist/songwriter Naadei has quietly been making a name for herself in the past few years, landing vocal and writing support for artists in France and the U.S. After being introduced to listeners by Booba, collaborating with Liljon and touring in Africa and Europe alongside Wyclef Jean, she leaves family and friends from her Canadian hometown, packs up her bags for Miami, and writes her first solo project in total isolation. Her soft voice tells the tale of a harder path as she recalls the 10 months of solitude and introspection. Her first EP titled I'm Fine is essentially an ode to not being fine at all. “But who really is, after all?” she asks. And she makes a valid point.
