We are NAON, Frank & Mark & Simon. Our music is a pop mix with 80 ´s and 90 ´s dance influences- check out naonmusic on YouTube. Musically they are kids of the 80’s and 90’s, and there is no mistaking the influence of this era in their songs. Though this doesn’t mean them taking worn down retro paths, but rather being totally fresh and in a sound outfit of modern times. The songs are a little melancholy, but always steer in a positive direction. This is reflected in the cover version of ‘Sweet Dreams’, an homage to their heroes Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox (Eurythmics). Initial demo versions of the new songs were published on the bands ‘Myspace’ profile and after a short time Naon slid to Number 1 on the Myspace Charts Germany under Electronica and not long afterwards even in Pop worldwide. Freshly motivated and because of the success on Myspace early 2011 they started producing ‘Working Title’. In between the trio re-released their ‘old’ second CD from 1997. There was a surprise here as well – via statistics in ‘Spotify’ they learned the of high numbers of airplay, especially in the Scandinavian countries.
