On the heels of their sixth studio album, 2023’s Set Yourself Free Moon Taxi show no sign of slowing down. That album showed the band effortlessly dabbling in a wide variety of styles including the bluegrass track “Evergreen” featuring Molly Tuttle, reggae- tinged jam Lay Low and plenty of their signature musicality and sharp songwriting throughout. Now they’re joined by friend Claire Wright for a fresh summertime spin on their fan-favorite song, “River Water.” This is just a taste of a lot of new and exciting music to come. Moon Taxi remains a vital live force as well, continuously playing to large crowds and at festivals across the country.
