Angel Dweh known mononymously as Angel Dweh, is a Liberian American singer, songwriter, composer, dancer, and actor. Born in Monrovia, Liberia to Liberian parents, and later immigrated to the United States. His effervescent music embodies a truly unique sound a blend of various genres such as Pop, Afrobeat, R&B, and Amapiano. His music reflects not only his personality but his roots in Liberia. Angel's unique vocal style in the Afropop/Afrobeats genre has earned him the title of "Afro-Prince." Angel Dweh is a nominee for the Master Class Radio Awards and CPMA's Best World Music 2022. Dweh won the Board Award for Soldier of the Year 2022 and CPMA Spot Award for Best World Music 2023. Emerging on the music in 2020 with the hit singles "Love a Good Thing", "Salud", and "Hard for Me". Angel grabbed the attention of critics both locally and internationally. His single, “Kokona” was one of the most-played songs on independent radio stations in Nigeria, Liberia, and Tanzania. On Master Class Radio in Canada, "Salud" ranked top 5 songs. In 2022, Angel Dweh became the first Liberian artist to perform at the African American Culture Fair in Lancaster, PA. He also performed at the ACANA African Festival in Philadelphia, PA. In January 2023, he announced his "Night with Angel Dweh" concert, which concluded with a performance at the 2023 Kipona Festival in Harrisburg, PA, where he once again broke records as the first Liberian Afrobeat artist to perform.
