Born in Nigeria and raised in Alberta, Canada, Ebun developed her love for music from singing in her church choir and at school from the time she was a little girl. 
 Ebun is an artist with range. She will take you to church, get you in your feelings, hype you up, get you on the dance floor while still touching on the realities of life. Ebun draws her inspiration from her faith, her family, friends, and her personal life experiences. She also attributes her love for music and songwriting to artists such as Steffany Gretzinger, Lorde, Amanda Cook, Beyonce, J. Cole, and Daniel Caeser. 
 As an artist, Ebun's desire is that her music will explore the complexities of humanity and give people a language to express themselves in a new way and provide the opportunity to find truth woven into the lyrics that she writes. 
 Ebun's debut single, Hiatus, released August 9, 2019.
