Emily J is a 23-year-old Estonian singer, topliner and artist. Jürgens' first project, "My Love 2 U," was released in collaboration with the electronic duo WATEVA when she was just 16 years old. The song earned a nomination for Hit Song of the Year at the MyHits Awards and spent several months at the top of the radio station charts. In 2019, she participated in Eesti Laul (Estonia’s national selection for Eurovision song contest) with the song ‘Hold Me Close’, making it to the finals. Emili Jürgens, with an impressive vocal range, has proven to be versatile in songwriting, as she can write in many different genres, ranging from EDM to Kpop, both in English and Estonian. The young musician has been involved in numerous collaborations and has written songs for other major artists in Estonia, including Jüri Pootsmann, Liis Lemsalu, Karl Killing, WATEVA, Elina Born, and Púr Múdd. At the 2024 Estonian Music Entrepreneurship Awards, Emili was nominated alongside Stig Rästa, Andres Kõpper, and Frederik Küüts in the category of Songwriter of the Year. As she is exploring international pop music, Emili has collaborated with dance music stars like Don Diablo, Lucky Luke, LANNÉ, AXMO. In addition, she has been in rooms with major songwriters and producers, such as Kasper Larsen (Selena Gomez, Kylie Minogue, Calum Scott), Ubizz (Saweetie, Teddy Swims, Cheat Codes) and Andreas Moe (Avicii, Tiesto, Hardwell) to name a few.
