Anthony Toner is a songwriter and guitarist based in Belfast, Northern Ireland - once memorably described as 'like James Taylor meets John Prine - in a second hand bookshop'. He has released over a dozen albums since 2008 - all available here on Spotify. The latest is 'Earlyriser', a short and sweet collection of acoustic guitar instrumentals. When not playing solo shows or touring in support of folk legend Barbara Dickson, Anthony can also be found on electric slide guitar and vocals with the Ronnie Greer Blues Band - or crooning classic country songs from Glen Campbell, Kristofferson, Gran Parsons and others as part of trio The Boondocks.
