Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Slick Floyd has been shaking up the desert scene since 2017. Starting out by DJ'ing underground desert and warehouse raves, Slick gained momentum quick in a time of real heart and love for electronic music. After competing in a DJ contest right before the pandemic, he got opportunities to open for Joyryde, Bijou, Kream, What So Not, Taiki Nulight and the list goes on.. Starting out making hip/hop beats back in high school on Ableton, his friends turned him onto a particular house artist, Tchami, that really sparked that inspiration to transfer to creating electronic music. After releasing numerous edits and flips on Soundcloud over the years, as well as an EP called "Desert Wasteland" (released on 11/11/22), he released "THE iLLEYE" album on 11/11/24. You can also hear his vocals on tracks like "Elevate", "Some House", and "PLEASE! Don't Stop The Beat" as well as his release with CHKLZ, "Two Sexy". Plans for 2025 include pushing a lot more music and videos and collaborating with other inspiring artists. Be on the lookout for SLiCK FLOYD!!
