shamgang is a side project of Jontha Links producer Shamik Ganguly. His debut instrumental EP moods 2020 was developed from a selection of beat sketches made throughout 2020. Each beat is born from a different moment and a different mood, and the compilation outlines an emotional progression throughout the year. The project is grounded in deep grooves, and characterized by organic exploration and improvisation. As the tracklist floats between moods it also floats between house, funk, jazz, electronic, hip-hop, and experimental styles.
