Meet Janae Music the soulful songstress and now rapper hailing from DC. She started singing in a children’s choir in school and church then competed in a collegiate competition that solidified her skills as a performer. Her lyrics reflect real life experiences fueled by love, passion and pain. Although she grew up as a tomboy watching and playing sports, she is very much in tune with her feminine side. Janae hopes to inspire other women to embrace their beauty and struggles with everything she has learned. “I am motivated by life, love, the ability to impact others to grow, and most of all, change.
