Llamabeats is a band and music production group which consists of producer Master Fade, and emcees/producers George Spits and The What's Good?. After having met and lived most of their lives in Miami, FL, they are now based out of Los Angeles, CA. Spits and Fade grew up going to the same rock shows and writing everything from punk ballads to reggae riddims alongside each other. In 2008 they met TWG? and former member Bliego, and together they all decided to start recording and performing an amalgamation of funk, jazz, and reggae influenced hip-hop tunes. The llama sound can be described as a very melodic and singer/songwriter approach to rap music which blends traditional instrumentation along with sample and funk based hip-hop elements. Together, the group has also worked in the studio producing records with artists such as Slightly Stoopid, ArtOfficial, ¡MAYDAY!, Wrekonize, Kendall Morgan, Nardo Lombardo, The Benchwarmers Clique, Kyle Smith, and La Mar y Juana.
