Revenue Tha Ru aka Kenny Peez is a rap artist from Pomona, California. He fell in love with music at 12 and began developing a passion for writing rhymes and freestyling in junior high school. Creating music came natural. Rap was always a priority to him but with all enigmatic thinkers and true artists, life can come at you even faster. He was incarcerated at the age of 23 for an attempted murder/robbery. The circumstances around his trial remain unclear ‘til this day. But there was light at the end of the tunnel. His incarceration may have saved his life. (And in turn, jump started his drive to follow his dreams.) Through the hardships of his youth and determination to rewrite his story, Revenue finally began taking his career seriously. The results were overwhelming. Revenue’s laid back delivery and witty punchlines gives his music a smooth but edgy vibration. Influenced by 2pac, E40, and Jay Z, he has stayed true to his beginnings while paying respect to his journey. In 2019, he released ‘Mack Repp’ which featured the stand out track “Make These Ends.” The track caught the attention of DJ B-Eazy and received rotation on shade45 and LA Leakers. While this recognition can’t be overlooked, Revenue hopes this is only the beginning of a new chapter... "All I want to do is be motivation to people.
