Biography

Anne Hytta is a performer of the hardanger fiddle, a traditional instrument with sympathetic strings. Her music is solidly founded in the traditional music of the hardanger fiddle from the rural Telemark district in south-eastern Norway. She composes and performs her own music solo, with her trio Slagr and various other projects. She performs medieval music with ensemble Aurora Borealis.
