Seidekai is a german artist who was born in Bremen. (Ich bin ´n Bremer Jung.) As a child of the 80s, he grew up with artists such as Madonna, Phil Collins and Michael Jackson, while the "Neue Deutsche Welle / New German Wave" was just finding its way into his northern German environment. All these influences have shaped him musically and still do today. (Ich bin schon ganz schön alt und hab´ früher alles gehört, was es so gab.) He began classically with organ lessons and rather than learning just by reading notes, preferred to capture the spirit of a song musically and package it using his own style. Other instruments were added later. (Ganz früher habe ich angefangen zu orgeln, weil ich Blockflöte doof fand. Gitarre und Saxophon stehen hier auch irgendwo rum.) What he never learned, however, was singing. After releasing a few instrumental songs, in 2019 he decided to work with artists who lent their voices to his new songs. Together, they continuously created new songs in various genres. (Also das, was an Geräuschen aus meinem Körper kommt hat in keinster Weise mit Gesang zu tun.) Instead of simply letting the music industry define his music, he is driven by diversity, in celebration of being an independent musician.
