Mari Jane, born as Mari Harutyunyan in Germany, is a singer-songwriter. Mari was already passionate about music at an early stage and started piano lessons at the age of 7. Artists like Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston inspired her on her musical path. After graduating from school, she took part in "The Voice of Germany". She excited the jury from the first second on, including music greats like Nena and Xavier Naidoo. With her performance "Heaven" by Emeli Sandé, she captivated the jury and audience at the Blind Auditions. Uplifted by this experience Mari Jane has been working on her own songs ever since. While her love for R'n'B, Soul and Pop will never fade, the Latin music scene has always had a strong influence on her. After travelling around Latin America, the culture and music had an even bigger impact on her creative work.
