Emerging from the vibrant streets of Bath and now calling Bristol home, Longman has crafted a unique musical journey that's both personal and profound. Growing up, he played in indie bands, but his true calling emerged when he started experimenting solo with an SP-404 MKII. Inspired by the rich sounds of old Brazil, Soul, Jazz, and Rock, Longman samples these influences to create lo-fi, boom-bap Trip-hop tracks that are as nostalgic as they are innovative. In collaboration with British rapper Rex, is bridging the gap between UK hip-hop and American boom-bap, creating a sound that's both fresh and based in old school roots. Their synergy brings a cultural change to the music scene, blending the gritty, authentic vibes of UK rap with the soulful, laid-back beats of American boom-bap.
