Bloody Pineapples is an international metal band with 12 members spanning across five different countries. It started in February 2020 with the URM Collab Smash Competition, which challenged teams of 2-5 people to write, record, and mix/master a song based off of an artist's style in the span of only a few weeks. Just under 40% of BP submissions resulted in top two poll placements, including a 1st place spot with the track Tri∆ngles, in April 2021. Having a sizeable backlog of submissions, it made sense to release them to the rest of the world. In order to make this work for everyone, we created a couple of different divisions to maintain organization and utilize a 24/7 workflow by taking advantage of geographical and time zone differences. The Recording Division is mainly international, consisting of members who write, record, and mix/master all BP songs. Members include Toby Allen on Guitar (United Kingdom), Samuel Bassani on Drums (Brazil), Jake La Roache on Guitar (United States), Maximilian Müller on Bass (Sweden), Kiko Picasso on Keys and Post-Production (United States), Luke Wilson on Vocals (United States), and Ruben Zafra for Mixing and Mastering (Spain). The Live Division (based out of Eugene, Oregon) consists of members dedicated to performing the songs live. Members include Taylor Crane on Bass, Guy Eckelberger on Lead Guitar, Gary Glosser on Drums, Clint Hardy on Vocals, and Jake La Roache on Guitar.
