Somaya Reece aka "La Jefa” is a recording artist, trend setter, rule breaker, CEO, SAG credited comedic actress, and television star. Somaya was born into poverty of an immigrant family from El Salvador, raised in a tin garage with her siblings in South Central Los Angeles, California. Beginning at the early age of 7, Somaya was inspired by the late Celia Cruz to become an artist. She learned to play the violin and joined choir, earning her honors as the lead violinist in her school.
