With influences from The Beatles to Dave Matthews Band, The Getaways deliver a groovy mashup of genres and styles. There follow up release to 'Radiola' (2017), Retrosphere (2018) is a mix of 90's rock drums, 80's pop synths and 70's funk guitars. The album was written, recorded and mixed by Gareth Van Niekerk with appearances from Michael Wilson on drums (Sinking Ships, Out In The Sun, Undercover) and Karl Jacobsen on backing vocals (Again And Again).
