Johnny Silvestry, professionally known as Silvestry is a professional singer/songwriter, recording artist, music producer and photographer. He started singing in church at the early age of 4 and began to write his own songs at the age of 11.  
 Silvestry grew up in Brooklyn, New York and studied theater and stage presence at Kingsboro Community College. He minored in photography.  
 He began to record demos at the age of 16 and by the age of 21 he released his first full length Spanish album, titled Canciones De Esperanza (2010). Touring Puerto, Ohio, Chicago, Connecticut, Boston among many other states to promote the faith based album.  
 After doing some soul searching he discontinued the promotion of Canciones De Esperanza and began to record his first English album.  
 In 2013 he released his 2nd studio album titled “Opening Up” with a music video debut at the Jacob Javits Center. The album was musically produced in Germany and recorded in New York at Area 51 studios.  
 The artist felt these songs were truer to his heart and also gave him the confidence to “come out.”  The album contained songs about love and heartache from previous relationships - as opposed to the religious praise and worship songs he’d previously released.
